First of all, I'm a guy, almost 70, and I don't work for the spa or Turning Stone Resort, nor am I related to anyone who does (that I know of).
My daughter and I had a great experience getting a manicure and pedicure. Everyone was so attentive and nice! Will definitely be back!
I love a good massage, and I get one here every time...BUT, for the price of a massage at a typical "parlor," I get the massage and all-day use of a whirlpool, steam room, sauna, swimming pool, shower, and lounge with ice water and kinda healthy snacks. When I walk into the place, a friendly staffer hands me a thick white robe, slippers, the key to my locker, and then shows me where everything is and how it works.
I just have to say that this is a top quality operation, unmatched in upstate New York in my experience.
Adding to the spa experience, Ahsi is just inside the entrance to the Turning Stone Casino, which has numerous restaurants and whatever type of gambling tickles your fancy. But save enough of your money for Ahsi: It's the best bargain in the Turning Stone complex. Ahsi gift certificates have solved the kids' eternal question, "What do you want for (Christmas, birthday, Father's Day, etc.)", and it accepts Spa Finder gift cards that you can get at any drug store or supermarket, to make gifting even easier.
